What is the shelf life of Beytoot Hummus, Baba Ghanouj and Muhammara?

We pride ourselves on crafting our dips without the use of preservatives or additives, ensuring you get to experience the genuine flavours of Lebanese cuisine.

For optimal freshness, our Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, and Muhammara should be consumed within 7 days when stored in the refrigerator. If you'd like to extend their shelf life, they can be stored directly in the freezer, where they'll remain delicious for up to 6 months.

None of our dips can be stored at room temperature.

How long does Toum last?

The expiry date for unopened containers of our signature Toum is printed on the lid. Once you've opened your jar, we recommend consuming it within 3-4 weeks for Original and Buffalo Toum and within 2 weeks for Basil Toum to experience it at its freshest and finest.

Our Toum is crafted with the utmost care in a rigorously sanitized environment, and its low pH helps to naturally preserve its quality. However, once opened, the risk of external contamination exists, so it's best to indulge sooner rather than later for the most delightful experience.

Toum should be stored in the refrigerator. Please do not freeze Toum as it will break the emulsion and affect its taste and quality.
